How to make egg fried rice, Step By Step Guide

Here’s a simple recipe for delicious egg fried rice:

Ingredients:

  •  2 cups rice (95%)
  •  3 eggs
  •  2 carrots (chopped)
  •  2 bell peppers (chopped)
  •  Half cup chopped cabbage
  •  3 green onions (chopped)
  •  3 green chili (chopped)
  •  1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  •  3 tablespoons soy sauce
  •  1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  •   2 tablespoons white vinegar
  •   2 tablespoons chicken powder
  •   1 tablespoon cumin
  •  Salt, black, white pepper to taste

Let’s start to cook easy and delicious egg-fried rice restaurant-style at home!!!

Firstly, Prepare Ingredients:

 Rinse the rice.

  • To prevent your rice from becoming too sticky, it’s important to rinse it thoroughly before cooking. While this step might seem like a hassle, it is worth it to get rid of the dusty starches that can make your rice clump together. This will ensure that your rice is perfectly cooked and fluffy, without any unwanted stickiness
  • Soak rice for 20 minutes
  • Chop the vegetables and green onions.
  • Beat the eggs in a bowl.

1. boil the rice:

You need to take a big size wok and add six cups of water , turn on a high flame.

Add one tablespoon of salt, white vinegar, and  2 tablespoons of cooking oil to prevent your rice from becoming too sticky, When the water is full hot , drain the water from soaked rice and add it to the boiling water  and cook 95%,  After this strain the rice and spread in a large dish.

Add the 3-4 tablespoons oil in the hot pan, and add minced garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant then add crushed cumin, after this  first add carrot then bell pepper  and in the last cabbage. Now you will add salt ,black ,white pepper, soya souce, vingener, chicken powder and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they slightly tender but still crispy. In this all procedure we need a high flame because on low and medium flame vegetables become tender.

3. Scramble Eggs:

Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs onto the other side.

Wait for the eggs to cook for a moment, then scramble them with a spatula until they are fully cooked. You may take a separate pan for egg scramble.

4. Add Rice:

    Add the cooked rice to the pan. Break up any clumps and mix well with the vegetables and eggs. increase the flame to the highest and stir fry for  2 -3 minutes. You can add more salt, sauce, and black pepper to your taste.

  Be cautious with the salt as soy sauce is already salty and we have added salt already in rice.

5. Add Green Onions:

    Add chopped green onions and stir them into the egg fried rice.

 Once everything is heated thoroughly and turn off the stove. Now your delicious egg fried rice recipe is ready to serve.
