How to Make Chicken jalfrezi recipe easily at home

Chicken jalfrezi recipe ( Restaurant style)
Ingredients to cook delicious chicken jalfrezi at home
- Boneless chicken 500 to 600 grams
- Oil half cup
- One tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- One chopped onion
- 1 cup fresh tomato paste
- 3-4 bell pepper (diced any color)
- 2 green chilies diced deseed (optional)
- 2 onions medium (diced)
- 2 tomatoes (deseed, diced)
- 2 lemon (juice)
- 2 tablespoons soya sauce
- 2 eggs
Spices you will need, measure your spices and keep them aside
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes
- ¼ black pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon fenugreek dried leaf (kasoori methi)
- ½ garam masala powder

Here is the step by step guide to make chicken jalfrezi recipe
Step 1 make omelette (Optional)
- Beat eggs, water, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl until blended. Pour 2 tablespoons oil into the pan, heat the oil, and put the blended egg mixture on the pan. The mixture should be set immediately at the edges.
GENTLY PUSH cooked portions from the edges toward the center with an inverted turner so that uncooked eggs can reach the hot pan surface. CONTINUE cooking, tilting pan, and gently moving cooked portions as needed. When it becomes ready cut into diced.
Step 2 Fry garlic, ginger paste,onion and chicken
You need to take a deep pan or wok, turn on the flame, and pour oil into a deep pan then add ginger and garlic paste and saute/fry them on medium flame for 1 minute then add chopped onion when they become light golden you will add chicken and 2 tablespoon soya sauce,fry until it turns pale. This takes 6 to 7 minutes.
Step 3 add water
After this procedure add half a cup of water and cover with lid, cook until chicken becomes tender and soft.
Step 3 add whole spices
Add red chili powder, black pepper powder, salt, turmeric, cumin powder coriander powder, fenugreek dried leaf, and garam masala powder. Stir with a spoon for 3 minutes.
Add Tomatoes Paste, Bell pepper, Onion, Tomato
4. add tomato paste and lemon juice to the chicken and stir fry 3 minutes after this add bell pepper, tomato, onions, and ketchup 2 tablespoons meanwhile stir the spoon and turn on high flame. The aim here is for the bell pepper/capsicum to still retain its crunch, but still take on some of the flavors of the curry but if you like soft bell pepper you can cover it for a few minutes. At this point you can taste and adjust according to your taste, you can add salt and black pepper.
5 when you turn off stove add omelet in the chicken pan.
Now your tasty chicken jalfrezi is ready. Garnish with green chili and coriander leaves. You can serve it with rice, roti, and naan. you can also serve it with simply cooked noodles or pasta.
You can store the chicken jalfrezi in freezer-proof containers with a lid once it has cooled down. When you want to eat it again, defrost it overnight in the fridge and then reheat it in a pan.
